Whitewater Rafting – Neretva Canyon
Herzegovina invites you to explore its hidden corners. For centuries the region has been inhabited by many different civilizations. Many more have left their mark while just passing through. Yet there are still places that have been untouched by human hands. Those are the pearls that need to be seen but not spoiled.
Raft on Neretva River through Neretva Canyon, the third highest canyon in Europe. Your adventure will begin in Glavatičevo and end in the town of Konjic. The whole tour lasts approximately 6 to 7 hours and includes breakfast, lunch, transportation, an experienced skipper and equipment that will be given to each tourist at the start of the tour.
This tour will allow you to relax, not worry about time, stop and explore the nearby caves, or drink the fresh water of the river whenever you feel the need to. The adrenaline rush starts from the first time your paddle touches the water until you've reached the end of the run.
Canoeing on the River Trebizat
To come and see the river Trebižat from the river bank is already an amazing experience. But to explore it from a canoe is an extra special adventure!
This tour gives you the opportunity to paddle the river Trebižat for a distance of 11 km. The water often changes from a calm, tranquil stream to a turbulent fast flowing river. The skipper / guide will teach you paddling techniques and the simplest way to get into a canoe from the water. From start to finish you will enjoy the scenery of the huge green trees, the sound of the birds, or simply, pure nature.
A traditional meal is included in the price of this tour. Let all your senses experience Herzegovina the way it has been for centuries.
Cycling tours
Want to see more of Herzegovina but don't want to spend more time on a bus? We have an idea! Grab a bike and let us lead you through the hidden villages of our ancestors. The local roads are not busy, and most of the time is spent riding along the vineyards, forests and pastures. It is a great opportunity for you to learn about the lives of the local people, the way they built their stone houses, how they produce wine and brandy, and of course to taste some of the local cuisine.
After a long ride you will need a rest. We recommend that we finish our tour in one of the restaurants that offers traditional food.
Walking tours
Walking is good for the mind and body. Walk through Herzegovina and discover what you wouldn't have had the opportunity to see while traveling in a car or a bus. This walking tour can take you into the wild outdoors, old farmer's villages or to one of the Herzegovinian shrines. You determine the theme of the tour and we will combine the most interesting places to visit and show you the nature, culture, traditions and customs of our country. We will conclude our day with one of the local meals served in a traditionally furnished restaurant.
Skiing and snowboarding
The perfect conditions of the continental climate have been giving us the opportunity to enjoy winter sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Every year more and more tourists visit this country in the winter, not just because of the significantly lower prices, but also because of the beauty of our mountains, clean air, well preserved nature and good service provided in the ski centers.
We recommend Kupres, one of the sport-recreation centers in the western part of Herzegovina (1250 meters above the sea level). Share your idea of an ideal winter vacation with us, and let us organize your trip. It's also a well known fact that the restaurants in this ski center offer delicious homemade food and many come here with the sole purpose of having a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.
Parasailing and paragliding
Experience the adventure of flying above the colorful Adriatic Coast. Makarska Riviera is an extremely interesting and beautiful part of the Croatian relief. The mountain that protects the town from the north invites tourists to explore its rocky slopes, ancient deserted settlements and thick forests. After reaching the top of the mountain one has to go back down to the base. You decide whether you want to go back by mini van or fly the paraglider down to the beach. As soon as your feet touch the pebble beach, leave your paraglider and jump into the blue sea! There are many Spring days when the weather conditions allow us to spend time on the snow-covered mountains and at the same time to spend time on the beach where the temperature is pleasant for swimming.
During the Summertime we offer you the adventure of parasailing over the beaches and the sea of the Makarska Riviera coast. Combine swimming and flying with many other fun activities offered to tourists while visiting the town of Makarska.
